Note from the Editor:

After a period of trial and error with a forum, we have decided to install a Letters to the Editor page in order to allow CIES members to voice their opinions on any matters of concern to CIES and its members. As a rule, we will publish signed letters only. Letters should be between 300-500 words. A Letters to the Editor page will be available in both the newsletter and the bulletin, and the entries received will also be included.

We also encourage you to submit your suggestions, comments, or questions about the CIES Newsletter in the space below. If your feedback is related to an article in particular, please include the title and the author's name.

Editor’s Corner
 For the September 2007 Newsletter, please submit INFORMATIVE SHORT REPORTS or REFLECTIONS, maximum 3 pages double spaced, on topics such as (but not limited to) international development projects, teaching of Comparative & International Education courses, or critical issues in the Society. Research articles or abbreviated versions of articles or papers for publication are not accepted.
