UREAG (Under-represented Racial, Ethnic and Ability Groups)planning a symposium on US Immigration Laws and effects on Academic Freedom at the CIES Annual Conference in Salt Lake City.In conjunction with this symposium, one of our UREAG/CIES members, Nisha Thapliyal, will be disseminating a survey to all CIES members in the weeks prior to the conference.The survey will help us determine the impact, extent and kinds of problems that CIES members are encountering due to these laws and their regulations.Please watch for this survey, and we would deeply appreciate your taking the time to complete this survey.We will report results at our Annual Meeting in Salt Lake.
