 ELECTIONS 2008

Dear CIES Members:

The 2008 elections are ongoing (they begun on December 21, 2007). The nominees' information is available on our website at: http://www.cies.us/elections2008.htm. Members should have received an e-mail that included an automatic link to the online ballot. If you did not receive it or encounter any problems accessing your ballot, please contact us by email at secretariat@cies.us or at (305) 348-3488.

Only current CIES members can participate in the elections. Please check your that your name is in the CIES online directory at http://www.cies.us/membership.htm and ensure that all your information is current, especially your e-mail address. Updating your entry is easy and convenient using the online form posted at www.journals.uchicago.edu/CIES/dir-change.html.

Members for whom we do not have a valid e-mail address will be sent a paper ballot. Please note that paper ballots must be returned by midnight, February 18, 2008. Ballots received after that date will not be counted.

The closing date for this election is February 18, 2008.

We would like to thank the Nominations Committee 07-08, chaired by Dr. Alexander Wiseman, for their work.

See you in New York, for the 2008 CIES conference!

Sincerely,
