Dear
colleague:
Thank
you to those who registered by January 10 for the Comparative
International Education Society's 2005 annual meeting,
“Beyond Dichotomies". We look forward to seeing
you at Stanford University between March 22-26, 2005.
We have received numerous inquiries regarding the program
schedule. The schedule will be posted on the CIES conference
web site (http://www.stanford.edu/dept/SUSE/projects/cies/)
on February 1, 2005. At that time, you will be able
to see when your accepted individual and panel submissions
have been scheduled. Panel sessions begin on Tuesday,
March 22 in the afternoon and the last panels will be
held in the morning of Saturday, March 26. Other major
events include the New Scholars Pre-Conference Worshop
(March 22), Opening Ceremony (evening of March 22),
Eggertsen Luncheon (March 23), Institutional Receptions
(evening of March 23), Kneller Lecture (evening of March
24), and the Gala (evening of March 25).
