We are pleased to invite you to the Inaugural Symposium of the Comparative and International Education Society, “The Possibility and Desirability of Global Learning Metrics: Comparative Perspectives on Education Research, Policy and Practice.”
The Symposium will be held in Scottsdale, Arizona on November 10-11, 2016 and will be hosted by Arizona State University’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College.
The Symposium will bring together education policymakers, practitioners, activists and scholars to engage in a focused debate about the desirability and feasibility of global learning metrics.
The Symposium format incorporates keynote plenary debates, which will open with statements from invited experts and proceed with moderated discussions. Paper presentations addressing the Symposium theme will also be included in parallel sessions.
The Symposium is being organized by ASU’s Center for Advanced Studies of Global Education and by edXchange, a knowledge mobilization initiative at Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College.
Please check the Symposium Website to register, submit a proposal and follow Symposium updates.
With warm wishes,
