The Citizenship and Democratic Education Special Interest Group offers a number of opportunities to its members:
• Participation in SIG panels at CIES annual and regional conferences • Networking • Participation in specialized SIG award contests • Subscription for CANDE BAR, the SIG newsletter • Updates about conferences, programs, and projects in Citizenship and Democratic Education
CANDE SIG welcomes scholars, practitioners, researchers, and policy makers interested in the development of Citizenship and Democratic Education.
