Programs in International Educational Development & Comparative and
International Education
The Programs in International and Comparative Education (ICE) at Teachers
College, Columbia University are seeking a full-time lecturer for the academic
year 2010-2011. The lecturer will teach two courses per semester, advise
students in the ICE programs, carry out program related work, and be expected
to contribute to the operations of the program.
The successful candidate will have the following:
* Doctorate in International and Comparative Education or related
fields
* Experience with issues of language, education, peace and
international affairs
* University teaching experience
* Experience with international development and/or international
populations in the United States
* Ability to teach the following courses:
o Languages, Societies, and Schools
o Literacy and Development
o International Organizations, Civil Society
& Peace Education
