Seeking Chief of Party Candidates for Nigeria Teacher Education Project

AED is recruiting a Chief of Party (COP) for an upcoming USAID-funded basic education program in Nigeria to assist the government and colleges in strengthening pre-service teacher education for early childhood development (ECD) and primary school teachers. The project will focus on curriculum development, course design and capacity building for college lecturers.  The ideal candidate will have strong background in these technical areas.  S/he preferably will have worked as a COP or a DCOP previous USAID or other donor-funded basic education projects, ideally with a pre-service teacher education component.  The candidate should have a doctorate in education or a related field.  Please send your CV and cover letter to nigeriarecruitment@aed.org.
