The Africa Special Interest Group (ASIG) aims to foster a sense of community among our members, inform the membership of best practices and current research in the field, and provide a valuable space for networking and dialoguing on Africa education.

Thank you to our members for their active participation in the ASIG and the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES), and welcome to non-members who are interested in joining our community.  Details about our purpose, mission and how to join are all available on this site.  We welcome your feedback and encourage you to become active in our SIG!

Site highlights include a member spotlight, were we showcase every month, the amazing research and projects of our members, and a discussion page that allows for members to discuss burning issues and continue conversations started at CIES conferences.

We look forward to seeing you at our panels and the special ASIG reception in Baltimore!

Sincerely,
